Project Manager, Youth Services

The Bronx, New York

Hi! I’m Natalia Foreman. I live in The Bronx, NY, but I’m a Brooklyn girl through and through! I love to create, listen to music, and spend quality time with my loved ones. This may surprise you, but I am an extroverted introvert—I prefer staying in. I have a dog child named Champ and about 15 plant babies.

I became interested in this type of work when I started working in high schools with youth who were so brilliant and misunderstood (like me, sometimes!). The connections I’ve made with youth as a high school educator have affirmed for me that I want to continue supporting the next generation’s dreams. I feel pride or satisfaction in my work when participants feel connected and like they’re walking away with something valuable. Through my work at FosterClub, I hope to become a stronger collaborator, facilitator, and resource to the youth we serve.

Natalia graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a BA in Adolescent Education with an English concentration and an MSED in Literacy Education. Before joining FosterClub, she served as an educator in high schools. After five years of experience in varied school settings, Natalia founded Curriculum Kweens, a collective that supports educators and other youth-based organizations through coaching, consulting, and curriculum support. Her other notable achievements include being an aunt, an amazing cook, and having a poem published in an anthology.
