FosterClub’s Mission

FosterClub is the national network for young people in foster care. 

Our mission is simple: to make foster care suck less and a better experience for the young people who live it every day. We believe that young people in foster care deserve to be connected, educated, and represented so they can reach their full potential and contribute to stronger communities. We achieve this by equipping young people with tools and programs that empower them, while actively engaging them in shaping and transforming the foster care system.

Letters of Love

Letters of Love, is part of Alpha Xi Delta's Kindly Heart Initiative, a national letter-writing fundraising campaign, that shares personal stories of why chapters and alumnae members choose to support and make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people who have experienced foster care.

Friendship Bracelets for 

Youth in Foster Care

Alpha Xi Delta members can turn the Friendship Bracelets project into a meaningful, hands-on activity for chapter programs, philanthropy events, or sisterhood gatherings. These bracelets are symbols of connection and encouragement for young people in foster care. Each bracelet is attached to a Friendship Card, where members sign their first name so the youth receiving it knows it was made just for them.

Get Involved for National Foster Care Month

Alpha Xi Delta supports National Foster Care Month (NFCM) held in May, through it's "Kindly Hearts Initiative" to raise awareness and funds for FosterClub programs and services.
