Madison (Maddy) Langan (she/her)

is a systems-change leader and dedicated advocate for youth-centered reform in child welfare. A former foster youth from Oregon, Maddy brings over a decade of advocacy and professional experience, championing the integration of lived experience in policy and practice. She earned her B.A. in Sociology and Justice and Peace Studies from Georgetown University on a full academic scholarship and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Education Policy and Analysis at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Maddy serves as the Youth Engagement Technical Lead at ICF International, where she supports states in uplifting youth voice in Children and Family Services Reviews and contributes to national initiatives for foster youth. Her past work includes teaching 7th-grade math and science and supporting pedagogical innovation at Georgetown University. With a trauma-informed lens and strong facilitation skills, Maddy remains committed to amplifying marginalized voices and advancing equitable, youth-informed systems transformation.
