Maddie is an advocate that lives in Oregon and spent four and a half years in foster care. Maddie loves reading and writing and enjoys expressing creativity through crafts. In their free time, you can often find them relaxing and watching Gilmore Girls. Her interest in advocacy began after experiencing an unsafe foster home, which motivated her to help create better experiences for others. Through their work with FosterClub on the Oregon Youth Advisory Council, they hope to become a strong advocate for foster youth, ensuring young people in care feel safe, respected, heard, and supported.
