Louie Gasper (he/him) is a dedicated child welfare advocate and consultant with over a decade of experience advancing equity and systems change. He has managed state and federal projects focused on racial equity, prevention, and lived experience engagement, including as a former contractor for the Children’s Bureau. Louie has contributed to major initiatives such as the NACC’s “Exercise Your Rights” guide, served as a senior advisor to the Doris Duke Foundation, and was a lead partner engagement advisor for the HHS Equity TA Center under the Biden Administration.
Currently, Louie serves as an equity consultant for the ABA’s Family Justice Initiative and supports the Children’s Bureau’s Center for Workforce Excellence and Leadership (CWEL). His work includes developing anti-racist legal practice tools and national TA frameworks. Louie’s background also includes fellowships with C-SPAN, POLITICO, and NBC’s Meet the Press, reflecting his deep commitment to elevating youth voice and driving systemic reform.
