Kiyoni lives in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she is pursuing dual degrees in Music – Vocal Performance and English – Professional and Creative Writing. A former foster youth who experienced care from ages 4 to 14 across various programs in Nevada, Kiyoni has always been passionate about uplifting the foster care community—just not through traditional social work. Instead, she hopes to make a difference through business and creative avenues.
Currently serving as a FosterClub Peer Navigator, Kiyoni uses her lived experience to support and inspire other youth to embrace their stories and grow into their fullest potential. She is a proud mother and finds joy in singing, writing music, reading, and spending time in nature. A graduate of Silverado High School with an Advanced Honors Diploma, Kiyoni has earned multiple accolades, including three Congressional and two Senate recognitions, highlighting her resilience and dedication to excellence.
