Joel Reyes is originally from Honduras. He migrated to the United States when he was 16 years old and lives here without his family. His dream is to become a commercial pilot and be able to support people who need it by serving the community. Joel experienced foster care for a year and a half and then moved into a program where he lived for a year. Joel became interested in advocacy work when he learned about the problems that other young people were experiencing in the system.
