Jesse is from Cape Girardeau and likes reading. He spent 16 years in the foster care system. In his spare time, he likes to play video games. Jesse graduated from the Sears Youth Center and wants to explore cyber security. He became motivated to engage in advocacy work when he felt like no one would help him when he was experiencing hardships in the system, and he doesn’t want other youth in the system to feel like they have no one there for them. Through his work with FosterClub, Jesse would like to have a better understanding of himself and others.
