Faith is from Springfield, Missouri. She graduated from Missouri State University with a BS in Sociology with a minor in Nonprofit Leadership.
Faith's journey in advocacy began as a National Foster Youth Delegate in 2019, where she represented and voiced the concerns and needs of foster youth on a national platform. In 2021, she continued growing as an advocate and completed the Foster Club AllStar internship. In 2023, Faith served as an intern with the Congressional Coalition Adoption Institute, where she drafted a federal policy report that she had the honor of presenting to Congress. During this time, she also had the opportunity to intern with the Congressional Committee on Ways and Means with the Subcommittee on Work and Welfare, honing her policy skills, presenting her lived experience to staffers, and growing as a professional. Her work extends to the Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program and One Simple Wish, showcasing her diverse involvement in efforts to support foster youth.
Currently, Faith is a Child and Youth Engagement Coordinator at the Quality Improvement Center on Engaging Youth. In this role, she works to ensure that youth voices are heard and considered in efforts to improve the child welfare system. She has participated in panels, steering committees, and several national conversations, striving to make the foster care system a better place for youth. Outside of her professional life, Faith enjoys spending time with her 6-year-old border collie, Twigg, who loves to play fetch. She also loves to make pies, hang out with her chosen family, and travel the world.
