Everett is a 21-year-old Certified Peer Specialist who entered foster care at the age of 16. She aged out of foster care out of state and struggled to navigate adulthood solo without support. When meeting peers who had similar experiences and struggles, she wanted to find support for her peers and make the changes needed for smoother transitions. Through her work at Fosterclub, she hopes to be a louder advocate and facilitate change in her home state.
