Delgadina is a passionate advocate and former foster youth who entered care at 17 and aged out through Florida’s Extended Foster Care program at 20. They're lived experience fuels they're commitment to advancing equitable support for Transition Age Youth (TAY), particularly youth of color. They serve on various youth advisory councils and is a board member of the Florida Coalition for Children, using they're voice to influence systems-level change. As a certified Youth Advocacy Specialist with FosterClub, they co-facilitates trainings to support TAY in navigating the transition out of care. Delgadina is pursuing a degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Professional Writing, with plans to attend law school and become the Communications Director for the ACLU. Outside of advocacy, they enjoy LEGO building, Fortnite, cooking, and creative writing. Through storytelling, policy, and media, Delgadina is dedicated to amplifying marginalized voices and driving meaningful change in and beyond the foster care system.
