Cece Saldana | she/her/hers | 4 years in care

Cece lives in Portland, Oregon, and loves exploring the world through science and fashion. In her free time, she enjoys sewing, taking walks, practicing yoga, reading, watching reality TV, and spending time with friends. A fun fact about Cece: she doesn’t like chocolate!

Cece spent four years in the Oregon foster care system. Early in her experience, she knew resources existed but didn’t know where to find them. That sparked her passion for peer support. As a Peer Navigator, she hopes to show young people that their voices matter and that they’re not alone as they navigate services, goals, and life after care.

A first-generation high school and college graduate, Cece earned her degree in Multidisciplinary Sciences from the University of Oregon. Before joining FosterClub, she worked as a Medical Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant and became a Certified Phlebotomist. She was honored as an Outstanding Young Leader in 2025 and will begin a nursing program in Seattle in 2026.

Cece is excited to uplift youth in care, share what she’s learned, and help build a community where young people feel supported and connected.
