Antania (Ace) Goff
She/Her
10 Years in Care
Ace’s journey through foster care began when she was a baby. After a strained adoption, Ace re-entered the system during her pre-teen years. Over the course of their time in care, Ace has fought for her right to be heard and trusted with her own safety.
Today, Ace is pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Human Relations, with a focus on using education to fuel systemic change. She actively contributed to multiple organizations such as Foster Advocates, Youth Rising, Ampersand Families, and Fostering Media Connection, where she used her story to advocate for foster youth statewide. Through these efforts, Ace has shaped policy, mentored others, and spoken out on behalf of youth who often feel forgotten.
Ace’s biggest accomplishment has been using their lived experience to empower others. Their dedication to advocacy led to recognition in multiple platforms, and they continue to give back through mentorship and public speaking. They also work full-time while balancing their education, and they’re committed to creating spaces where foster youth feel supported, seen, and heard. Ace’s vision is to build safe spaces for yout
