Angel Day lives in Missouri and spent five years in foster care. She deeply values the love and support of her family and friends, who have played an important role in her journey. A fun fact about Angel: she plays five instruments—tuba, sousaphone, trombone, baritone, and euphonium. In her free time, she enjoys driving around with friends and trying new things.
Angel became passionate about advocacy after realizing that the challenges she faced were not unique and that many youth, like herself, have experienced injustice within the foster care system. She has served on the Missouri State Youth Advisory Board and the Missouri Coalition for Children’s Youth Congress, and is especially proud of the opportunities she’s had to speak with legislators about reforms and the brighter future she envisions for youth in foster care.
In 2025, Angel joined FosterClub’s App Engagement Team, where she hopes to help create a space where foster youth across the country can speak their minds, feel safe, and be authentically themselves.
