Anastasia lives in Stockton, California, a place that has shaped her resilience, creativity, and strong sense of community. She finds joy in activities that help her stay active and connected, as well as spending meaningful time with friends and family. When she needs a quiet moment, she turns to reading and drawing.
She graduated early from high school during her junior year and is currently attending San Joaquin Delta College, where she is pursuing a degree in Business Administration. Through her education she hopes to improve systems, uplift communities, and create opportunities for young people.
She has been in foster care for over three years in California, an experience that has deeply shaped her perspective and passion for youth advocacy. Before joining FosterClub, she was actively involved with California Youth Connection and participated in a mental health advocacy campaign.
As a member of the App Engagement Team, she is excited to share her story and make the FosterClub app more accessible, engaging, and youth-centered. She believes that when youth voices are centered, systems become more effective—and experiences in care can become more empowering.
