Youth Transitions Advisory Council (YTAC)

About this resource

The Youth Transitions Advisory Council (YTAC) is a group in Tennessee that works with the Department of Children’s Services (DCS) to support young people who are moving out of foster care.

YTAC helps make sure you have the resources you need to succeed as you transition into adulthood. That includes support with:

  • Finishing high school or earning a GED

  • Going to college or trade school

  • Getting help while still under juvenile court supervision after foster care

YTAC’s goal is to make your path forward smoother by improving services and support for youth like you.
