Vermont Department of Child and Family Concerns & Complaints

About this resource

Have a Complaint or Concern? Here's What to Do

If something isn’t going right, it’s okay to speak up. The State of Vermont wants to hear from you and help make things better.

Step 1: Talk to your worker or their supervisor. They might be able to fix the problem right away. If things still don’t get better, you can take the next step.

If you’re working with Family Services, you can: contact the director of the district office you're working with.

Important: If you send an email or letter, make sure to include your phone number and mailing address so someone can get back to you.
