Utah Youth Advisory Council (YAC)

About this resource

Teens across Utah can make a real impact through the Attorney General’s Youth Advisory Committee. This group is made up of students (ages 13–18) who help shape programs, policies, and initiatives that affect young people across the state—like the SafeUT app and youth justice centers. Members meet twice a month (virtually available for rural areas), share feedback with leaders, and participate in powerful service projects like Operation Give Back.

Applications open each summer and are due August 31. You must be in middle or high school and live in Utah to apply. Want to make your voice heard? Learn more and apply online.
