About this resource

The Knight Alliance Network supports UCF students who have experienced foster care, relative care, adoption, or homelessness. KAN provides personalized guidance and mentoring to help students transition into college, navigate campus resources, and work toward academic and personal goals.

Available services include:

• Pre-college and transition support
• Help with tuition waivers and financial literacy
• One-on-one counseling and coaching
• Campus navigation and referrals
• Mentoring and advocacy
• Support accessing on-campus services

KAN serves as the campus liaison for foster and homeless students, as required by Florida law, and partners with departments across campus to promote student well-being and college completion.
