About this resource

South Dakota Young Voices is a group for young people who want to share their experiences and help improve the child welfare system in South Dakota. It’s a way to make sure youth voices are heard by those who make decisions. 

Who can use this resource (eligibility)?

Open to youth aged 14–24 with experience in foster care or related systems.

How to Apply: email, call, or visit your local Department of Human Services office to speak with a representative about joining.
