South Dakota Education and Training Voucher (ETV) Funds

About this resource

The ETV Program is here to help you pay for college, a trade school, or a job training program if you were in foster care. You could get up to $5,000 each year to help cover things like:

  • Tuition and fees

  • Books and school supplies

  • Housing and food

  • Childcare, transportation, or internet

  • Tools, uniforms, and other job-related stuff

Before You Apply

You must first complete your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). This helps your school figure out what kind of financial aid you qualify for. The ETV program uses that info too, so do your FAFSA first.
