Salt Lake County Youth Services Youth Action Board (YAB)

About this resource

The Salt Lake County Youth Action Board is made up of young people ages 16–24 who are using their voices and lived experience to help prevent and end youth homelessness. The board works closely with Salt Lake County Youth Services and the Salt Lake Valley Coalition to End Homelessness to make sure youth perspectives shape decisions, services, and systems that impact them.

Board members serve one-year terms and can serve up to four years. The group meets regularly to share ideas, give feedback, and work on projects that help improve services for youth across Salt Lake County. If you're interested in making change and being part of a youth-led team, the Youth Action Board might be a great fit.
