About this resource

NSORO believes that young people in foster care deserve a fair shot at success. They provide scholarships, mentorship, and career support to help foster youth achieve their education and life goals. Their goal is to break barriers and make sure every student has the resources to thrive in college and beyond.

Who can use this resource (eligibility)?

Who Can Apply?

✅ Been in foster care? You may qualify if you:

• Spent at least 12 months in foster care before turning 18.
• Were adopted or placed in legal guardianship after your 16th birthday.
• Were orphaned for at least a year before turning 18.

✅ Age Requirement: Must be under 26 when applying.

✅ Education Goals: Open to students pursuing a college degree, trade school, or technical program.

✅ GPA: Must have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA.
