New Mexico: Foster Alliance Essential Services
About this resource
The Foster Alliance’s Essential Services program helps make sure kids and teens in foster care have what they need to feel safe, supported, and cared for—whether that’s a bed to sleep in or the basics to get through the school year.
They offer items like new beds and cribs, clothes, diapers, personal care products, backpacks, and more. These resources are available to help foster and kinship families, caseworkers, group homes, CASA advocates, and others supporting young people in care.
Requests can be made by adults working with or caring for youth in foster care.
Who can use this resource (eligibility)?
Children who are adjudicated in the State of New Mexico are eligible for assistance. Anyone in a child’s life, or the child, may apply. We ask that a child’s foster parent or social worker sign the application.
