New Jersey Higher Education: Education & Training Voucher
About this resource
The Chafee Education and Training Vouchers (commonly referred to as ETV) are funds that help current and former foster youth pay college and training expenses (like books, application fee, transportation to class, etc).
These funds are granted to the Department of Human Services Independent Living Programs (ILPs).
You must apply for Financial Aid assistance through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) before applying for the Chafee Education and Training Voucher.
Information for deadlines may change annually. For the most recent information, reach out to New Jersey Department of Children and Families Statewide Education and Scholarship Coordinator, Safa Simmons.
