New Hampshire: Ombudsman

About this resource

Office of the Child Advocate

The Office of the Child Advocate works to make sure New Hampshire kids are treated fairly and get the best support possible. They help improve the systems that protect and support children and families.

If you have a problem or complaint about Child Protective Services or how a case is being handled, you can ask the State’s Ombudsman to look into it.

Important:

The Ombudsman can’t help with emergencies. If you’re worried about a child’s safety, call local authorities or the child abuse hotline right away at 1-800-452-1999.
