Nebraska Chafee Education and Training Vouchers (ETV)

Nebraska specific information on Chafee Education and Training Vouchers (commonly referred to as ETV).

The Nebraska ETV Program offers up to $2,800 per year to eligible youth for expenses such as:

  • Tuition and fees

  • Books and school supplies

  • Other education-related costs

In addition to financial support, participants receive one-on-one guidance to help navigate their educational journey.

Who can use this resource (eligibility)?

You may qualify for the ETV Program if you:

  • Were in foster care (state or tribal) on or after your 16th birthday

  • Are between 16 and 26 years old

  • Have obtained a high school diploma or GED

  • Are enrolled in or accepted to an accredited college, university, or vocational program

Participants can receive ETV funds for up to 5 years, which do not have to be consecutive.
