To apply, use Maine Connection, a website where you can apply for Food Stamps, Health Care, Cash Assistance, and Child Care all in one place.
Just create an account on Maine Connection, then log in and fill out the Medicaid application.
Who can use this resource (eligibility)?
The Affordable Care Act (ACA) says that young adults under 26 years old who were in foster care when they turned 18 can get free health care.
This means former foster youth can get health care just like kids who stay on their parents’ insurance until they’re 26.
