The Maine Children’s Alliance (MCA) is a group that works to make life better for kids, teens, and families in Maine. For over 25 years, they’ve helped make sure children have what they need to grow up healthy, safe, and strong.

MCA looks at facts and data, works with other groups, and speaks up to help leaders make smart choices for kids in Maine. They also help parents, teachers, caregivers, and lawmakers take action to support young people.

What Does MCA Focus On?

MCA works on three big areas to help kids do well:

• Early Care & Education – making sure young children can learn and grow in safe, supportive places

• Health, Safety & Well-being – helping kids stay healthy, safe, and supported

• Family Economic & Food Security – making sure families have enough money and food to take care of their kids
