Idaho Youth in Care Bill of Rights
If you’re a youth in foster care in Idaho, you have important rights to help you feel safe, supported, and heard. These rights were created by the Idaho Foster Youth Advisory Board—a group of former and current foster youth who want to empower you.
You have the right to:

Be placed with your siblings when possible, or have a plan to stay in contact if not

Keep your personal belongings

Age-appropriate privacy

Freedom from discrimination

Be involved in your case plan

Make informed choices about your healthcare
