Georgia EmpowerMEnt is a group led by current and former foster youth in Georgia who work together to make the foster care system better. They connect with community leaders to create real change and make sure the voices of young people in foster care are heard.

What They Do:

  • Advocate for Change: They work to improve policies and services for youth in care.

  • Support Youth Voices: Trained youth advocates share their experiences and speak up for others.

  • Build a Strong Community: They connect foster youth with each other and with leaders who can help make a difference.
