Clark County Social Service - Step Up Program

About this resource

The Step-Up Program assists young adults who have aged out of Nevada's foster care system at age 18. It provides:

  • Case Management: Personalized support to develop and achieve individual goals.

  • Housing Assistance: Help with rent, move-in costs, and essential household items.

  • Educational Support: Financial aid for post-secondary education or vocational training.

  • Employment Services: Guidance and resources to secure employment.

  • Transportation Aid: Provision of monthly bus passes.

Who can use this resource (eligibility)?

To qualify, youth need to have attained the age of 18 years old while a child in foster care in Nevada. This means they “aged out” of foster care (i.e. they were not adopted or reunified with family by the time they reached 18 years old).
