Choctaw Nation Foster Care and Adoption Services

About this resource

Choctaw children deserve safe, stable homes that honor their culture and keep traditions alive. When children enter foster care, the goal is always reunification with their families. If that's not possible, Choctaw Family Services (CFS) seeks permanent, loving homes that maintain the child’s connection to their Choctaw heritage.

Our Services Include:

  • Helping families access needed support and services

  • Providing cultural enrichment programs for foster and adoptive families

  • Actively recruiting Choctaw foster and adoptive homes within our service area

  • Requiring at least 12 hours of annual training for foster/adoptive families in topics like culture, parenting, and child welfare
