Most states have a Child Welfare Complaint Office, Ombudsman, or Child Advocate. These are people who help when your rights might not be respected in foster care.
"Ombudsman" means "helper" or "representative"—but each state may call it something different!
If you’ve already talked to your caseworker, their supervisor, or a judge, and things still aren’t better, this is your next step.
