Arkansas: Youth Advisory Board
About this resource
The Arkansas Youth Advisory Board (YAB) is a group of awesome young people, ages 13–21, who are or have been in foster care. They’ve come together from all over Arkansas to speak up and make a difference for other foster youth in the state. YAB members work to share ideas, raise concerns, and give real feedback to help improve the child welfare system. Their goal is to be a strong voice for foster youth and help shape policies at DCFS by sharing what they hear and experience firsthand.
