Alpha Xi Delta Raises $350,000 for FosterClub Through National Partnership
In a powerful demonstration of compassion and commitment, Alpha Xi Delta has raised nearly $350,000 for FosterClub since the two organizations partnered together to support youth in and from foster care—an extraordinary milestone reflecting the fraternity's deep dedication to the wellbeing of foster youth nationwide.
The funds were raised through the collective efforts of collegiate chapters and alumnae associations across the country, underscoring Alpha Xi Delta’s enduring commitment to philanthropy and meaningful service.
In 2022, Alpha Xi Delta launched the Kindly Hearts Initiative, its philanthropic focus on supporting children and youth experiencing foster care or homelessness. FosterClub, the national network for young people in foster care, is proud to serve as one of two national charitable partners of the initiative.
Through creative and community-driven fundraising events—including themed campus events, galas, athletic competitions, and signature chapter programs—members have mobilized campuses and communities to support young people navigating foster care. In addition to fundraising, members have participated in the national Letters of Love campaign, sharing personal messages of encouragement and solidarity with youth in care.
Chapters and alumnae have also contributed hands-on service projects, including creating handmade friendship bracelets accompanied by uplifting notes. These tokens of encouragement are shared directly with young people in foster care, serving as tangible reminders that they are not alone.
“FosterClub is incredibly grateful for the dedication and heart of Alpha Xi Delta’s members,” said Celeste Bodner, Executive Director of FosterClub.
“Reaching nearly $350,000 in support is not only a financial milestone—it represents thousands of women choosing to stand alongside young people in foster care and invest in their futures.”
FosterClub leads the largest national network for young people in foster care, working to connect, educate, inspire, and represent youth in and from care. Through peer support, leadership development, and advocacy, FosterClub empowers young people to realize their potential and create meaningful change in the foster care system.
